A Sea Journey through the Alaska Inside Passage

Oil Pastels on Linen

These paintings depict the beauty of my surroundings in the Okanogan Highlands, a remote mountainous area in Washington state. The seasons are very distinct with long winters and all too short wonderful summers. I find so much inspiration in the old homesteads, quiet country roads, lakes, forests and big ranches. The community is tight knit with many artists and musicans living here.
